“Cover-Up” Screening and Discussion
Seymour Hersh has spent a lifetime uncovering stories the powerful would prefer remain hidden. “Cover-Up” traces the career of the Pulitzer Prize–winning investigative reporter, offering an urgent and deeply reported portrait of a journalist whose work has reshaped public understanding of U.S. military and intelligence operations.
Drawing on exclusive access to Hersh’s personal notes, along with primary documents and archival footage, the film examines the practice and impact of investigative journalism while exposing enduring patterns of institutional violence and impunity.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with Seymour Hersh, Reporter, and Laura Poitras, Director, Producer and Editor, moderated by Azmat Khan, Director, Simon and June Li Center for Global Journalism.
