National Geographic has launched a fund for journalists covering COVID-19 and is seeking applications for stories that are “reflective of the current challenges that the pandemic poses to communities around the world.” The fund will distribute $1,000 to $8,000 local coverage of “the preparation, response, and impact of this global pandemic as seen through evidence-based reporting.” This fund has a rolling submission deadline.
