‘The Perfect Story’ – Film Screening With Director, Michelle Shephard
Join us for a screening of the award-winning film The Perfect Story and a discussion afterwards with filmmaker Michelle Shephard. In 2010, Shephard met a young Somali refugee during a reporting trip to Mogadishu and told his compelling story to the world. “The Perfect Story” examines what happened next as well as the ethical and moral challenges sparked by their relationship. The film questions what stories are told, why and who gets to tell them.
