Detained Peter Mackler Award Winner Freed
Sudanese security authorities have released journalist Faisal Mohamed Salih, who was arrested Jan. 3 for supporting anti-government protests. Faisal received the 2013 Peter Mackler Award for Courageous and Ethical Journalism.
