Columbia Journalism School’s Continuing Education Department is offering “Reporting in Crisis Zones,” a three-day course to prepare journalists to work safely in dangerous environments, including disasters. The course is aimed at people preparing to work abroad in conflict/crisis regions, and it’s meant toward prevention to keeping them out of harm’s way rather than training how to get themselves of trouble in a hostile
environment.
