Foreign Press Association to Host Discussion on Water Security
The Foreign Press Association will host a live broadcast, part of a new series entitled “Global Matters that Matter” on the subject of “Water… safe, clean, sustainable, affordable water.” The discussion will include Kurt Soderlund, CEO of Safe Water Network (co-founded with actor Paul Newman), and his board member, Rita Colwell, recipient of the Stockholm Water Award, environmental microbiologist, and professor at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. More than a billion people worldwide lack access to safe water. Learn how Safe Water Network has saved millions of lives by providing access to this life-saving resource.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
