Harriett Sloan Corporon, wife of OPC Past President John Corporon (1996 – 1998) passed away on Sunday, Jan. 26 in hospice care at home in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Harriet was born in Dodge City, Kansas 91 years ago. She is survived by her husband, John, two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. John and Harriet were married for almost 63 years.
Harriett’s wish was to be cremated and she did not want any funeral service or wake. However, John would like to invite colleagues and friends to come by on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at their home, 671 Tenth Street, in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn.
